Clockwork Screed specialise in high performance liquid floor screed and poured insulation, servicing customers across the North West and North Wales.
We boast over 30 years’ experience of supplying the construction industry with quality, innovative products and exceptional service. With significant resources dedicated to innovation, we have streamlined the screeding process to the benefit of our customers. Traditionally practice requires three lorry deliveries to site for the components of the insulation and screed, Clockwork Screed use just one, a one stop solution!
Our product portfolio is dominated by two key areas: liquid screed and poured insulation.
Liquid Screed
Clockwork Screed source, deliver and install liquid screed for commercial construction projects. Suitable for flooring with our without underfloor heating, liquid screed is now generally preferred to concrete mainly because it dries more quickly which saves project time and cost.
The major benefit of sourcing liquid floor screed from Clockwork Screed is the provision of our mobile screed plants. We batch-produce screed on-site and pump it directly onto the floor using our fully automated Transmix vehicles. This ensures we have the right amount for the job and the customer only pays for what they need which reduces build times and associated labour costs. On housing development projects this means we can install screed in four houses in a day rather than two in two days.
Poured insulation
Clockwork Screed professionally install energystore TLA poured insulation for property developers and construction firms that dries as quickly as 1cm per day. Compared with insulation boards, poured insulation is much quicker to install; we can easily lay 1000m² of poured insulation a day. There are no storage problems that are found with insulation boards, and the poured insulation covers all the gaps that can be missed by boards.
Clockwork Screed can install poured insulation for ground floor and intermediate floor insulation. For intermediate floors our versatile, lightweight poured insulation saves a significant amount of weight and also reduces the need for insulation boards below underfloor heating systems.

Daniel O’Connor is a passionate advocate for green construction and is always looking to innovate in this area. His desire to learn inspired him to study for a Master’s in Advanced Concrete Technology.
Mal O’Connor co-founded New Mix Concrete in 1983. His business acumen and professional work ethic, along with his industry expertise have led to his unrivalled reputation within the sector.
Katie O’Connor’s experience in the concrete industry began in 2012 at ABS Brymar Floors. She now brings her business skills and knowledge of the concrete industry to Clockwork Screed.

Because our Transmix vehicles deliver exactly the right amount of floor screed, there are no additional deliveries to cover shortfalls which means we generate fewer carbon miles than our competitors.
Our poured insulation produces zero waste while insulation boards leave a lot of non-recyclable waste. The installation process also produces less carbon due to the insulation containing up to 80% less cement than concrete.
