Floor screeding specialists

Floor screeding specialists

Floor screeding specialists are commissioned by main contractors and property developers in the latter stages of a build project. Their job is to lay a smooth floor screed on top of subfloors, ready for the final floor finish such as carpet, laminate flooring or vinyl.

Floor screeding specialists

Clockwork Screed are floor screeding specialists based in Stockport. We assist main contractors and property developers by supplying and installing cementitious liquid floor screeds on new build and refurbishment projects.

Both residential and commercial build projects need the services of floor screeding specialists. Before a flooring finish can be applied, the surface onto which it will be laid needs to be smooth and durable, without bubbles or gaps.

Is liquid floor screed right for you?

If you are looking for a robust floor that is smooth and dry within 48 hours, an installation that is quick and efficient, and a process that generates zero waste, liquid floor screed is right for you.

Clockwork Screed’s liquid floor screed is batched on site and poured onto the subfloor. It self-compacts so covers all nooks and crannies, leaving no bubbles or voids around pipework. This makes it ideal for underfloor heating systems. Our cementitious floor screed can be laid as thinly as 25mm which allows the heating to be distributed evenly and improves the underfloor heating system’s performance and responsiveness.

What is liquid screed

High Quality Concrete Screeds

Clockwork Screed’s high quality concrete screed is durable and resistant to shrinkage. Our screed has a shrinkage rate of less than 0.05%.

The liquid screed does not create any surface dust after curing which makes the installation process and laying of a top floor much easier. Floor finishes can be applied to the liquid floor screed at moisture levels of 2.5%CM (Concrete Moisture test), whereas anhydrite screeds need to get down to 0.5%CM making the process longer and delaying the next stage.
